Foundation for Civil Society (FCS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Agnes Hanti and Amani Manyelezi as Co-Executive Directors, marking an important new chapter in the organisation’s journey towards stronger systems, strategic partnerships and sustainable impact.

Agnes and Amani were selected through a rigorous and open search process and will jointly lead FCS as the organisation advances its strategic renewal and strengthens its contribution to a more resilient and impactful civil society ecosystem in Tanzania.

Bringing complementary experience in partnerships, gender equality, governance, systems strengthening, public accountability and strategic leadership, the two leaders are well positioned to guide FCS in responding to the evolving development landscape and supporting more citizen-centred approaches to development.

Their appointment reflects FCS’s commitment to bold, collaborative and forward-looking leadership as the organisation moves towards more systemic, coherent and sustainable impact at scale.
