Gabriel Bundala is a seasoned finance and operations executive with over a decade of progressive leadership experience, financial strategy and operational transformation across various key industries and sectors, consistently delivering value through innovation, discipline, and strategic foresight. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Dar es Salaam, graduating with distinction. His MBA thesis focused on the Determinants of Capital Flight in Tanzania, exploring how macroeconomic and governance factors contribute to capital outflows. This work inspired his evolving development interest, which has matured into a PhD concept note centered on Structural Transformation for Sustainable Economic and Social Prosperity in the Intelligence Age—an interdisciplinary approach that considers artificial intelligence, climate change, and sustainability as key drivers of future development.

Gabriel is currently enrolled in the ACCA Professional Diploma in Sustainability, a course designed to deepen his knowledge in sustainability reporting, ESG integration, and value-driven leadership—further supporting his role in driving the Sustainability Agenda at FCS.

Gabriel’s professional journey includes senior roles at Bolt Technology OÜ, where he was instrumental in shaping and implementing the company’s country strategic plan, driving multi-market expansion, and overseeing business operations across Tanzania and Uganda. His leadership contributed to exponential revenue growth and operational scale-up. Prior to Bolt, he worked with PwC in audit and assurance services, leading engagements for clients in mining, manufacturing, technology, and public sector entities—an experience that enhanced his business acumen, commercial awareness across sectors and future-facing development interest.

Gabriel brings a leadership style rooted in visionary thinking, strategic focus, and empathetic leadership. He is deeply committed to delivering impact through people—known for building high-performing teams, nurturing talent, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. At FCS, he is championing a transformation agenda aimed at positioning the organization as a forward-looking, impact-driven development partner committed to long-term financial resilience and operational excellence.
